Impact

STUDENTS:
- realise the importance of learning Maths
- improve their Mathematics skills and raised attainment
- develop creativity, organisational and group work skills
- practise gathering information, become more reliable and independent
- gain self confidence in communicating in a foreign language and realise the importance of foreign languages in today's world.
- improve their ICT skills by making multimedia presentations and contributing to a website
- progress by means of mutual help
- gain knowledge on partner countries and regions
- by cooperating with European peers, reduce and hopefully abolish stereotypes and prejudices about others nations, religions, etc.
- social cohesion will be increased
- develop their personalities
- reduce the risk of students dropping out of school early.

STAFF:
- become familiar with the functioning of the partner institutions, sharing ideas and experiences concerning school work and project work
- take some ideas from the specialised partner school concerning work with special needs pupils (their integration into the mainstream education in other partner schools)
- improve their management and language skills
-improve English skills in particular
- improve their ITC skills
- develop their knowledge on partner countries and regions
- realise and appreciate the benefits of a European school partnership
- individual and collective recognition of contributions to the project
- develop creative and innovative approaches to teaching
- get involved in cross-curricular projects and thus enlarge their field of knowledge
- be inspired by new pedagogical approaches and ideas shared by other staff
- increased job satisfaction
-develop the curriculum in each school

SCHOOLS:
- exchange of best educational practices
- the schools become more attractive for possible students and are recognised in the region through dissemination of the partnership results
- new themes are introduced to schools' curriculum
- links between schools and local communities are strengthened
- increased cooperation with parents

- improved skills of staff
- increased co-operaton and communication between staff
- improve knowledge of the culture/geography and history of partner countries
- increase local involvement in the institutions in order to improve learning quality

The impact of the project will be of great value for all partner schools as it will give us the opportunity to learn from others, embrace different approaches and points of view, experience difference. All students, teachers, parents, representatives of the local communities will take part and be enriched by this experience.
