Maths and Games - Romanian Team
For the Maths and Games activity of our project, the Romanian team organised a series of activities that included treasure hunting as well as different fun activities that tried to find a link between mathematics and environmental issues.
We found that the best way to achieve our goals is to get the students out of the classroom so that they can relate to the idea that Maths is a subject that reflects and related to the reality that surrounds them.
We divided our students into groups
They have to solve calculations and also work with geometrical shapes.
We found a way to interconnect maths and geography/ ecology.
We decided to go out of the classroom and work together in the school yard.
